The Odyssey Framed IMAX 70mm Film Strip Contest

1. Contest Period

• This contest is organised by Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn. Bhd. (“GSC”).
• The contest period is from 22 July 2026 to 5 August 2026, both dates inclusive.
• Eligibility will be determined based on the date and showtime of the screening, and not the date on which the tickets were purchased.
• Tickets purchased before 22 July 2026 will still be eligible, provided that the screening takes place between 22 July 2026 and 5 August 2026, both dates inclusive.

2. Eligibility and Participation

• This contest is open to all registered GSC Rewards members.
• Participation is automatic. No contest form or separate submission is required.
• To participate, GSC Rewards members must purchase eligible tickets for The Odyssey in IMAX through the GSC website or GSC mobile app while logged in to their GSC Rewards account.
• Only paid tickets purchased online through the GSC website or GSC mobile app are eligible.
• Complimentary tickets, vouchers, GSC Rewards redemptions and other non-paid tickets are not eligible.
• Tickets that have been refunded, cancelled, voided or otherwise invalidated will not be counted.
• Purchases made through cinema counters, kiosks, third-party platforms or any other channels will not be eligible.
• Each eligible showtime attended or booked by a participant will be counted as one eligible viewing, regardless of the number of tickets or seats purchased for that showtime.
• For example, purchasing ten tickets for the same screening date and showtime will be counted as one eligible viewing only.
• Multiple transactions made by the same participant for the same screening date and showtime will also be counted as one eligible viewing only.
• To accumulate additional eligible viewings, participants must purchase tickets for different screening dates and/or showtimes during the contest period.
• Eligible viewings will be tracked based on the GSC Rewards account used to make the online purchase. Purchases made using different GSC Rewards accounts cannot be combined.

3. Participating IMAX Locations

• Eligible screenings must take place at one of the following participating locations:
• IMAX Hall, Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX
• IMAX Hall, GSC IOI City Mall 2 (East)
• IMAX Hall, GSC KL East Mall
• IMAX Hall, GSC IOI Mall Damansara
• IMAX Hall, GSC The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru
• IMAX Hall, GSC Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru

4. Winner Selection

• One winner will be selected from all eligible participants.
• The participant with the highest number of eligible viewings during the contest period will be selected as the winner.
• If two or more participants have the same highest number of eligible viewings, the winner will be selected through a random draw among the tied participants.
• GSC’s records relating to eligible purchases, screening dates, showtimes and GSC Rewards accounts will be used to determine the winner.
• The winner will be contacted using the contact details registered under their GSC Rewards account no later than 31 August 2026.
• The winner must respond within three working days from the date they are contacted.
• Failure to respond within the stipulated period may result in the prize being forfeited. GSC reserves the right to select the next eligible participant or conduct another random draw, where applicable.
• GSC shall not be responsible for any incorrect, incomplete or outdated contact information registered under the participant’s GSC Rewards account.
• The winner may be required to provide proof of identity and any other information reasonably required by GSC for verification purposes.

5. Prize

• One framed IMAX 70mm film strip from The Odyssey is available to be won.
• The winner will receive one framed IMAX 70mm film strip display.
• The prize fulfilment date will be confirmed once the item has been received by GSC, pending delivery from IMAX.
• Prize collection or delivery arrangements are to be confirmed and will be communicated directly to the winner.
• The winner may be required to collect the prize from a location specified by GSC.
• Any costs incurred by the winner in connection with collecting or receiving the prize, including transportation or other personal expenses, will be borne by the winner unless otherwise stated by GSC.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted for any other item.
• The appearance, film frames and other details of the actual prize may differ from the visuals shown.
• Visuals are for illustration purposes only.

6. General Terms

• By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
• GSC reserves the right to verify all eligible purchases and disqualify any participant suspected of fraud, ticket manipulation, misuse of GSC Rewards accounts or any activity intended to unfairly increase the number of eligible viewings.
• GSC reserves the right to exclude any transaction that is incomplete, duplicated, refunded, cancelled, fraudulent or otherwise deemed invalid.
• GSC does not accept responsibility for unsuccessful purchases or transactions caused by internet connectivity, payment gateway issues, system errors, technical issues or other circumstances beyond its control.
• By participating, participants consent to GSC collecting, storing and processing their personal information and transaction details for the purposes of administering the contest, verifying eligibility, selecting and contacting the winner, and fulfilling the prize.
• All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with GSC’s applicable privacy and personal data policies.
• GSC reserves the right to amend the contest mechanics or these Terms & Conditions at its absolute discretion without prior notice.
• GSC reserves the right to cancel, suspend, postpone or terminate the contest at any stage should circumstances beyond its control arise.
• GSC’s decision on all matters relating to the contest, including eligibility, the calculation of eligible viewings, tie-breakers and winner selection, is final. No correspondence, complaints or appeals will be entertained.
